Ingredients

 For Gobi Manchurian:
To make Manchurian Sauce:
  •  ½ tbsp Dwarka Organic Sunflower Oil
  •  1 tbsp Finely-chopped garlic
  •  ½ tbsp Finely/chopped ginger
  •  1 Chopped Green Chili
  •   cup Finely-chopped onions
  •  ¼ cup Bell paper
  •  1 tbsp Soya sauce
  •  3 tbsp Red chilli sauce
  •  2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  •  ½ tsp Rice vinegar
  •  1 tbsp Sugar
 Salt as per taste
 4 tbsp Water
 2 tbsp Chopped spring onion greens for garnish

Method

For Gobi Manchurian:
1.After washing 250 gms of Gobi, cut the florets into medium size.
2.Put them into 3 cups of warm water and let rest for about 5 minutes
3.Clean the cauliflower until there remains no moisture
4.Put some oil in the pan and reduce the heat to medium for deep frying
5.Meanwhile you can prepare the batter by combining cornstarch, flour, red chilli powder, black pepper powder and salt in a mixing bowl
6.Keep adding water in little quantities and make sure that the batter should neither be very thick, nor runny. So it must be balanced.
7.Then you can add the gobi florets in the batter to coat them well. Add the gobis in batches
Frying the Cauliflower:
8.Let the oil get hot enough to reach the right temperature for frying
9.Add the cauliflower florets gently into the hot oil to fry until they turn golden brown
10.Keep stirring at regular intervals for even frying
11.Drain the oil into a kitchen tissue and your fried gobis are ready
To make Gobi Manchurian:
12.Heat ½ tablespoon of oil in a pan that is wide.
13.Once the pan is hot, add garlic, ginger and green chilli and saute them for a couple of minutes
14.Then add the spring onions and bell peppers and saute them in high flame for some more time.
15.Add soya sauce, red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, red chilli paste, sugar and vinegar
16.Mix them together and add water. Keep cooking and stirring on medium heat until the sauce thickens.
17.Allow the sauce to cool for a couple of minutes
18.Now add the cauliflower and stir gently to coat the gobi well with the sauce.
19.Garnish the dish with the spring onion greens.
20.Serve it as an appetizer or with noodles or rice
