  1. To make Missi Roti, take the whole wheat flour, besan, and ajwain in a mixing bowl. Add finely chopped onions, chopped green chilies, a pinch of asafoetida, and oil. Mix well.
  2. Then add ½ cup water. Begin to mix and knead the dough. Add more water as required and knead to a smooth, soft dough.
  3. Allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes and then make medium sized balls from the dough.
  4. Take the dough ball on the rolling board and roll it into medium-thick roti.
  5. To cook Missi Roti, heat a roti tava and roast the rotis until perfectly roasted.
  6. Serve hot Missi Roti with a side of chutney or yogurt.
