Method

  1. In a thick bottomed pan, add ¼ cup of ghee in it. Once the ghee melts, then lower the flame.
  2. Add besan and mix it well in the ghee. Keep on stirring continuously for 14-15 mins, so that the besan is evenly roasted.
  3. Once ghee starts separating, add milk and sugar.
  4. Keep stirring for another 10 mins on low flame.
  5. Add crushed cardamom, chopped almonds and continue to stir.
  6. Let the Besan Halwa cool and serve warm or chilled.
