Ingredients

Method

  1. Combine and mix together powdered sugar and ghee in a bowl.
  2. Add the powdered cardamom and nutmeg to the mix.
  3. Now add all the flours and mix the ingredients well together.
  4. Add baking soda and baking powder, mix together, and knead it into a dough.
  5. Cover the dough and keep it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. Prepare your baking tray by lining it with parchment paper.
  7. Divide the dough into equal small portions and roll them into a ball.
  8. Make crossed creases on the dough to allow it to fluff when baking.
  9. Garnish them by pressing the sliced almonds into the dough.
  10. Now you can bake the dough at 180 degree Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
  11. Once baked, let them rest at room temperature till them become firm and crunchy.
  12. Store them in an airtight container.
  13. Add the beetroot to the cooker and saute it for a minute.
